about

Growing up in the Central Valley of California provided the opportunity to be surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. From a young age I was cognizant of the beauty that surrounded my home. From my family's farm in the valley, to the beaches of the Northern California coast, to the Valley floor of Yosemite National Park, I always knew where I lived was special and I started photographing the many details and landscapes before the age of 10. As I got older my love of photography was cultivated and encouraged by my grandfather, a WWII Marine Corp Combat Photographer who took to photographing our hometown people, events and businesses after he returned from the war. I spent many hours with him in his darkroom developing film and making prints and pouring over the hundreds of thousands of negatives housed inside it's sacred walls. His love for photography was palpable and directly influenced my passion for photography as well. Once I was in college my studies ran the gamut within the agriculture industry but my focus kept turning towards the design and photography fields. I would eventually receive my degree in Graphic Design & Media Arts and now use my years of photography experience on an everyday basis. From running my own photography business to my freelance design and retouching services I have created a niche for myself that combines some of my skills with my passions in life.
